Hello all,

 

Many a times when I had questions in my mind about my mods in the car, briskoda posts have been to my rescue and easing out things for me.

 

I live in New Delhi India and is a proud owner of Skoda Octavia II l&k 2012 aka Laura l&k thats what its named here in India. Thanks to all those posts which helped me getting my doubts cleared.

 

The car has completed 1,20,000 km on the ODO and is still buttery smooth in every sense. Here are some of the mods that are complete.

 

VCDS

1. Needle Staging

2. Daytime running lights active via full maxidot control

3. Comfort indicators changed to 5 clicks

4. AFS changed to the latest versions enabling city mode, rain mode etc.

5. Activated dual rear fogs

6. Enabled panic braking indications via the rear lights.

7. Cornering functions via fogs

8. Enabled easy access for the front seat.(Every time you open the driver's door, the seat moves backwards to create space)

9. Front fogs activated with reverse gear for added visibility

10. Activated tear wipe for the front wipers

11. Activated the bluetooth and MDI

12. Headlights activation during rains

13. Cornering lamps activation with indicators and many more which I cant recall now.

 

ODIS

1. Reversed the stock DRLs to act as blinkers and stock indicators to act as DRLs.

2. Rear C shape on the tail lights is now L shaped and the brake lights only function as full time brake lamps(No position via brake lamps)

3. Activated US lights but gave up on that as the DRL function was gone.

 

Things outside software

1. Stage 1 ECU remap giving now 190 BHP and 430 NM torque thereafter added VRS badges as well.

2. LED DRLs and puddle lamps

3. Full LED rear panel (Philips brake and fog lamps, reverse lamp, indicators and postion lamps) inlcuding license plate lamps.

4. Used H1 LEDs on high beam but now upgraded the front lights to Quad-Bixenons including headlight blackening to piano black

5. Piano black and chrome front grille.

6. Flat bottom Steering wheel with paddle shifters

7. 3M 1080 Gloss black roof and racing stripes to match the original Skoda white and black key cover.

8. Original Skoda black ORVM covers

9. Original skoda nets for the boot

10. LED fogs

11. DRL stripes inside the crystal of the headlights and many more which could take this list to anywhere near 50.

 

Ongoing project is lowering the car via bilstein shocks.
