Idle problems

My cars developed a misfire on idle, it’s not all the time but was very bad tonight it felt like it was going to stall

had previous issues with not starting, would start then cut straight out then be a pain to start fine after - this was every now and again mainly with cold weather - not putting them down to glow plugs because of the other problems

so yeah, now it’s misfiring, no fault codes on VAG com. Only got the cheap copy so not the most reliable

Have replaced cam position sensor already

any ideas? Possible injector loom but it’s not permanent...
