how do i find my engine code 1.2 TSI 

Usually it would be on the inside page (on a sticker with bar code etc) of the service schedule booklet, also on an identical sticker within the boot, either on the floor or on the tyre well for the spare tyre, and perhaps on the pillar when you open the drivers door.
