Seriously though, I wouldn't stress until it hits the fan.

 

I read a bit of the previous post before giving up... Got to be the most long winded complaint/warning I partially read!

 

I have used their site(s) for aftermarket parts equivalent comparisons however I seem to recall I didn't use them due to the shipping cost, instead preferring eBay vendors with free shipping. Cheaper and with potentially more of a safety net (eBay/PayPal) if things go wrong.

I phoned them direct and spoke to a guy in Berlin because I was struggling to figure out the springs I require. Anyway......On their website it told me what springs I required in many brands, however I wasn't convinced due to reading other things and looking at my cars PR numbers. I gave them the VIN and they magically told me I require a set of SACHS with a different VAG part no from what their website was originally saying  (which i think are the original springs and weren't on the compatible list on the website)  

 

They also described to me the paint marks on them which match what I already have fitted (never told them what I had fitted already btw)

 

I don't think their website is very good after this experience. Especially now that when I stick my cars details in on the website, these springs I have ordered apparently aren't compatible haha.

 

The ones I have ordered do match up with the part no and paint marks I got in a diagram found from your previous posts on the forum. So I think my instinct was correct about their offerings to start with.

 

Hopefully it doesn't hit the fan now though :-/
