Hi I've just orderd a Karoq and was looking at towbar options, dealer is to expensive the only place i can get one is TPS for around £480 +vat  ,has any one else tryed to get one fitted

I had the factory fit one which is brilliant, but as you say it's very expensive. They're actually made by Westfalia so you may be able to get it cheaper going down that route. Not sure where you live but I believe Westfalia have a UK fitting centre somewhere in the South West, and they also have fitting agents scattered around the country. Did you order Towbar Prep with the car as this makes the fitting of an aftermarket towbar cheaper and quicker.

I would have probably ordered it as an option but I didn’t want to wait 12 + weeks so I bought a car from group stock that came with loads of options but no tow bar 

 I contacted westfalia but they don’t list one yet so will brobabley order from TPS and fit my self

Whilst you can ft it yourself, don't forget that the car will need reprogramming afterwards.

I work for the AA and i carry a VAS unit in the van so not a problem
