Hi

I recently bought a 03 mk1 Octavia as a second car. Since buying it this site has come up in a few searches I've done so thought I'd be as well to join.

I suspect I'll be needing a fair bit of advice over the coming (hopefully) years.

Thanks. I've got an 03 1.9 tdi pd 130hp L&K (with black leather).  Engine is tip top so far and the bodywork etc is good for the age but i'm suffering from what I gather is fairly common electrical issues with driver's door - central locking, electric door mirror and lights-on warning light not working.  Scanning the forum for hints and tips to decide whether I just live with the mild inconvenience or bite the bullet and either have a go at fixing the issue or take it to the garage.

 

I'll no doubt pop up now and again on topics along these lines!
