So after the garage put a new clutch and DMF in I've had no end of trouble. Sticky reverse and first and creeping (clutch all the way down) in first and reverse. Its pretty random when it does it, sometimes its fine, sometimes not but it feels like the clutch bites at a different point each time. 

 

~The garage have swapped out the master cylinder as well and some diaphragm and it was still doing it. They have then swapped everything out again including some pipework all with genuine VAG bits and its still doing it......

 

I've been very patient so far but this is getting really dull..... Are they putting in the wrong part or doing it wrong....? Argh....

Anyone? I really don't know where to go with this. There seems to be quite a lot online with similar issues in VAG vehicles but I can't find anything conclusive in terms of solutions....

It does sound hydraulic related, although you say they have replaced everything now. Sounds like incorrect installation to me after all that. The garage have a duty to rectify the problem, as they hold the warranty obligations (as long as they supplied and fitted the parts of course) - the other possibility is that the supplier has given them the incorrect clutch to DMF combination.....
