Hi, 

 

I have read numerous comments about the IAT sensor on the 1.6 tdi fabia. 

I keep getting the P0112 code on my code reader. 

the parts department cant;'t find this code to be able to either identify what the code relates to or the actual location of the IAT sensor.

 

Could someone please advise me of where to find this sensor including a photo if possible.

I susspect that intake air temperature sensor is part of the maf sensor... Just a guess, please check.

I HAVE JUST CHANGED THE MAF SENSOR WHICH IS JUST OFF THE AIRBOX. I NEED TO FIND OUT WHERE THE IAT/MAP SENSOR IS LOCATED, IS IT OF THE REAR OF THE ENGINE OR IS THE WEIRD LOOKING DEVICE ON THE TUBE AT THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE.

I CANNOT FIND ANY PICTURES OR DIAGRAMS, EVEN THE PARTS DEPT AT BRISODA COULDN'T FIND IT ON HIS COMPUTER.

Usually it is located on the pipe after the turbine, or on the intake manifold. Search google for a MAP sensor, to have an idea how it looks like.
