I want to replace my rear lights with newer design ones but can only seem to find ones for hatchbacks up to 2000. Does anyone know if these ones will fit a 2003 model

@Tim360 - A vRS is post facelift, so has the later design rear lights already. "Up to 2_000" is pre-facelift.

The lights I'm looking at are modern redesigned ones but I can only get them for the early models up to 2000.  Was the whole fitting redesigned or just the plastic face? Will a pre-face light rear light cluster fit a post face 2003 car?

 

 

I'm trying to finish off a few bits prior to a full engine re-build by Badger 5 in Stroud next year. That’s going to be expensive, so I’d like to get the rest done this year, and the rear lights are on my list.
