Looks like being in administration has done to Maplin memory prices what competition never did. e.g. 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600 is now circa £28. And other memory is now down in price.

So long as you don't go over the main boards limit you can never have enough memory, really increases speed and multi tasking.

Apparently there is also an oversupply of SSDs right now and since the shine has gone off cryptomining GFX cards are coming down too.
