Q regarding Kodiaq deals

Featured Replies

Hi

Looking at a Kodiaq and would like the edition model. There's a good deal on an SE for 349 a month and 349 deposit 2 free services and 1k fuel

The dealer has said that this offer runs out 2nd April. Has anyone got a decent PCP on an edition model?

It's all down to your negotiation skills.

Almost all Kodiaq's are sold on PCP deals, this is the dealers favoured choice as they get as much commission on the finance as they do the car.

You can use the finance calculator on Skoda's website to give you an idea of the monthly payments, but this is based on list price...

Obviously anything you can negotiate off list is a benefit, I managed a £2,900 discount using carwow and by playing a couple of dealers off each other.

You'll notice that the Skoda finance calculator already includes the £2,000 finance contribution, the £1,000 fuel card and 2x services are separate to the PCP calculations.

The finance incentives change every quarter, so the current deal will change at the end of March so your dealer is right. The gamble is if it'll improve or worsen for quarter 2.

This is an example of a 1.4 TSI 150PS Skoda Kodiaq Edition, 7 seat, automatic. Over 4 years, assuming 10,000 miles per year...

I found it cheaper to sign up to the PCP to get the finance contributions and then clear the PCP in full straight after picking up the car using a regular unsecured bank loan (3.1% APR).

My local dealer is doing the SE for £329 deposit and £329 per month...

I'm not a big fan of DM Keith though so personally I'd look elsewhere.

I wouldn't be a big fan either - not if they are doing a "SE 2.0 TSI 125PS model"  . I'd prefer a 1.4 TSI with 150PS.....     ;)
