Hi all, im new to the forum so please be nice, lol.

I bought a mk2 fabia vrs (2012) few weeks back. Upon cold start up the car turns over for a good few secinds before it fires up like a slow count to 4.

The battery is fine, changes the plugs and have tried priming the fuel oumo seceral times. You can turn the car off literally straight away after it's started the first time and it fires up perfectly. Any ideas on what it could be? Any help would be appreciated. I have a video if needed. Cheers. 

Not a VRS specialist (Or any other) But it seems these cars ARE very fussy concerning plugs and gapping etc. Air filter and oil can also be an issue. Hopefully by me answering, other VRS users might spot this and offer more help.

Thanks for your reply, i have read about this and changed the plugs to Denso SKJ20CR-A8 gapped to 6. I have alos changed the air filter but havent yet changed the oil but it had the starting issue before and after these things were done. Again thanks for the reply.
