Screenwash Jet Adjustment

Featured Replies

As touched on in passing in another thread, the little screw on the screen wash jets does in fact provide a little adjustment of the nozzle.

I originally thought it was a mounting screw, but a nice mechanic put me right when I complained about a poor jet and dodgy LH blade.

A Torx 10 key lets you tweak the nozzle.

I gave mine a half turn anti-clockwise and it seems to have raised the spray slightly. Still to road test at speed.

ps - I wiped the LH blade with neat screenwash as My Man assured me it would help with the poor wiping performance of the top few inches. I’m not yet convinced.

Good tip, thanks.

It seems you aren't alone with the passenger side wiper blade, dig-in and hopefully you'll force the dealer to investigate a little further.

It does, but it doesn't last long. Mine doesn't seem to be as bad as some are reporting though, but there is a definite 'light' spot on that side when just using the washers.
