18" alloys

Featured Replies

hi im thinking about putting 18" Sirius alloys from a 2014 superb estate size 7.5jx18 ,onto my 2015 65 plate superb , I have 16" on just now ,skoda have said it has to be 8jx18 offset 44 is this correct

Hi mate,

The short answer is that they will fit absolutely fine.  I don’t see what different 1/2” width will make and the offset just means how far the wheel pokes out.

What do you think guys can I fit them

You can fit them, just go for

it.

For example I have a set of MK2 Octavia wheels for winter and MK3 Octavia wheels for summer fitted to my MK2 Superb!

Spacers will be a personal choice, if you’re happy with how they look then fine. If you feel they sit under the arch too much then you can get some spacers.

Morning Matt thanks for you time and help these are the wheels . As long as you think they will fit I will go ahead and get them, it’s just that I no nothing about wheel sizes etc ,and Skoda say 8jx18 44

Skoda sirus alloys part number 3T0071498HHA7

Measures 18x7.5j with an offset of ET46. The screen shot below from willtheyfit.com details new prospective wheels vs the 'skoda recommended measurements' in post #1.

It is all I'd need for me to know they'll be fine.

In short, the face of your new wheels will sit a little (less than a centimetre) further into the arch than the existing ones, and the inside edge will be less than half a centimetre further away from the suspension strut.

Hope this helps

Go ahead and get them mate. Take some pictures for us once they’re fitted!
