Amundsen Sat Nav niggle

Featured Replies

My Amundsen Sat nav has two locations it thinks of as "home". One is my actual home and the other is a few 100 metres further along the road.

If I am approaching from the east it directs me to the the wrong , more easterly one. The map display shows two chequered flags.  When I ignore its directions and am nearer true "home" it updates the route to the correct location.

If I approach from the west, it directs me straight to true "home" and only shows one chequered flag

I have tried resetting my home location but it still behaves the same way.

Obviously I do know my way home locally but I'm mystified why it does this and how it can possibly store two locations as being "home"

Is this a known error?  I'm using Map file STD2_0730_EU1_2017

I was about to download the latest maps just in case there was also an update to the navigation engine too but noted that the website said there was another update due in May so I will wait until then as the download/update process is very slow.

TIA

Bob

Weird, have you tried clearing the destinations and resetting the home location? I saved a position on the map and I can’t delete it! Not the most user friendly system haha
