Ultra Racing Strut Brace Octavia VRS

First post, so apologies if this has been covered in another thread. I've tried searching previous and can't see anything covering the issue i'm having.

I took delivery of an Ultra Racing front Strut Brace via Demon Tweeks a few weeks back. I guess my question is, has anyone had one before? And did you require any cutting or modifying to fit it? When discussing it with Ultra after i asked for some fitting instructions, they gave me a very blunt "We've never been asked for them before...it should just bolt straight on" But it appears when aligning it, the scuttle tray needs to come off, potentially some metal cutting on the left hand side, and some maneuvering round some electrics on the right!

There's part of me that clearly thought i'd ordered the wrong part....but when discussing it with Ultra they suggested not! lol 

Anyway, appreciate any advice/comments from the vast array of knowledge on here!
