Hi all,

 

Had an engine management light come on my 2006 petrol Octavia VRS recently, checked with a basic card reader and its given P0441 (EVAPORATIVE EMISSION SYSTEM INCORRECT PURGE FLOW) got a couple of other issues with it which are 'mayo' under the oil cap and a whistle type noise under hard acceleration..

So just wondering what are common fixes for this, replacing N80 valve seems to be common first step just wanted to check if anyone has had this issue and it hasnt been N80?

 

car is a pre face life VRS, Remapped, open cone filter and miltek turbo back exhaust these issues more common in mapped vehicles?
