Odd low growl noise at 4k revs

So this is an odd one to describe.  Only just started in the last week, but when I get to about 4k revs there's an odd sound that I can only describe as a large vibrating growl.  Not the best thing to describe I know...

 

I'll try and get a recording of it but if anyone has experienced this before or similar let me know.  I'm just worried it's an issue with the turbo although I don't notice any lack in power.
