Only The Drivers sesat Eletric

Featured Replies

I was having a mooch around a Skoda dealer yesterday and I spied a nice looking Karoq sat in the showroom.  Full leather seats but only the drivers was eletric, the passenger seat was a manual type.  Bit stingy on a car costing just short of £30K

What is the world comming too

Its the same on my 2015 Qashqai with leather seats.

Seems to be that way on a lot of cars now when you look at the specs.

Waiting for Vadimo to chip in, in 5,4,3,2....

What is a Vadimo chip????

It's a chip on Skoda's shoulder that has shouted at them for being very misleading with regard to electric front seats (or lack of on the passenger side) in the top spec Karoq.

(OK, in truth,  "Vadimo" is a member here who posts a lot about the Karoq . He was not and is not happy about the passenger side being manual on the Edition and has made his views known!)

You would really think if one side was Electric the other side would be especially on the 'range topping' Edition model !

You could possibly get away with a drivers side only electric seat in a 'middling' or Business trim, but not the top of the range.

Even if it was/is an option on the  passenger side, that's still unacceptable on the Edition.

Be interesting to see if it is the same situation in other markets.

Even the L&K yeti and Octavia I had only had electric drivers seats.
