Hello I have bought a fuel filter and it is 176mm high but other ones are around 130 or 110mm high

will this 176mm fit??

this site stocks the part i bought and says it is compatible with a 1.6tdi 2010 fabia,

  rare for it to be 176mm high though as opposed to most at 110-135mm

I would check first either with the main dealer or the filter manufacturer via their website. If it physically fits in, it might just offer a larger filtering capacity before it's full, so to speak. Just make sure it clears any other components and/ or the bonnet.
