has anyone had an issue with the radio turning itself on when the keys are NOT in the ignition, it's happened 3 times, the 3rd time i was cleaning the car on my drive and the keys were on my doorstep

AFAIK you do not need the keys in the ignition to turn the radio on. So if you press the on button while cleaning the fascia it will turn on.

If it's like my old Mk2, the radio will turn itself off after an hour or so anyway to protect the battery.

Yep. I think my Octavia radio could turn on for 15mins without the keys in. The Kodiaq is longer probably 30mins.

i was cleaning the boot so defo didn't knock button and turn on accidentally, turned itself off after a while. They are now thinking it's a faulty head unit as i have other problems, they updated software on a Weds for the reverse screen sometimes not working on the Monday it didn't work again, going back in YET again
