So this is farewell

Featured Replies

Have fun, and remember to allow an extra inch or three all round :hi:

I liked the Superb sporty estate, but it is so low and long it would not go over the crest where my drive meets the road.

I had a Mark 1 Superb saloon some years ago but that scraped the underside with just a driver in. We had to load it once up on the road. The new sporty one is 25mm lower!

Stuck with the good ground clearance of the Yeti.

I decided that I was going to keep the Yeti for years and then, on somewhat of a whim, I'm not.

I'm not going far; I'll be over playing with the boys and girls on the Superb III section

Play nicely!

We have both :)

Been very pleased with our Superb, we've had it around 2.5 years now.

We have one of each. Horses for courses, the Yeti is awesome around town, out with the dog and on trips where we are travelling light. Its comfortable and economic and small enough to be easy to park.

The Superb would be not-so-good for most of that, but hook a box trailer or caravan on, or a 4-bike carrier and a roof full of canoes, kayaks or body boards on it and fill it to the gunnels and it will still roll along at 70mph in total comfort. I just wish you could shrink it a bit at the touch of a button for those supermarket carpark moments...
