online shopping - prc direct

Featured Replies

I'm looking at buying a new TV and the samsung 42" HD plasma has caught my eye after having a look around in my local curry's and comet. When trying to find it cheaper on the web I used Kelkoo and it linked me to a company called prc direct. These guys seem to be the only ones that have it in stock online and are

I suppose if you pay by credit card you are covered in any case?

BUT! If something goes wrong with the screen, how do you get it sorted with each company? Curry's will be on-site repair within warranty (extended or otherwise) but you should find out if PRC do the same. If they do then all should be well depending on typical response time. If they expect you to ship it back, then any faults will cost you a lot in shipping.

I bought a TV from PRC a couple of years ago. I actually went to their shop in Ilford, but bought it through PRC Direct in order to get a lower price. When it came it made a high pitched sound which I didn't like, I rang PRC who got in touch of Toshiba for me, and then Toshiba sorted out the rest.

When a new telly came it was Toshiba who actually delivered it.
