fuel recomendations

Featured Replies

Now the proud owner of a Fabia 1.4 twin charger vrs, I know it states to run on 98 ron, but what fuel do you the other proud owners use. Tesco Momentum is my closest, there is an Esso but lower ron I think, Shell is about 7 mile in the opposite way from work. Advice please

Tesco Momentum is your closest - it is reasonably priced - use Tesco Momentum.

Usually Tesco momentum here but for the past few months I've been using Costco premium fuel which is also 99ron and the car loves it, it's only £1.19 a litre too!

^^^ And that might just be supplied by Greenergy the producer of Tesco Momentum 99.

The only other UK 99 octane minimum being the Shell V-Power Nitro + . (overpriced IMO,  and the base fuel imported along with what Greenergy imports.)

The Esso 97 Ron might well be supplied by Greenergy in the majority of the UK.

If not using 99 ron but 97 ron Sainsbury's Super Unleaded is usually well priced at about the same as some others 95 ron.
