I bought a TSI vRS which had unfortunately suffered from chain slippage on startup. Luckily, only eight inlet valves were damaged and everything else was OK. It's now been fixed with all the updated chains, guides, tensioner and all the rest of it. Have yet to drive it (taxing it on Tuesday), but I'm excited to see how she goes!

Vote for your favourite bent valve. There are no prizes or electoral seats. Just for fun.

Yeah! The head shop even returned some of the old carbon bits to me along with the valves. It had done just under 93k miles before the damage.
