Just picked up an 09 for a friend.  It seems it needs a double unlock on the remote to release all the doors. Can this be changed to overall unlock with one click on the vehicle or would it need to be via vcds.  I think it's a poverty spec with manual window winders in the rear and electrics in the front. Also, apart from going aftermarket can the ICE be swapped out  easily for any skoda unit with usb or sd card media. I have no problem fitting a single din unit for her but thought I would look up options first.

I'm having same double unlock issue. Just had the car for 4 days. Let me know if you find a solution. I'll look and post if I find one. As for your other questions I'm not sure. Kind regards.

Seems its an individual option and not an issue. But without VCDS I'm not sure it can be changed by the individual so prob would need to take to a garage who can change the setting. Hmm.

You can also do this with the carista app.

Thanks for that, it's cheap as well so a bonus. Shame regular ODB2 scanners can't do it as I've already got one of those.
