timing belt when to change

Featured Replies

I asked skoda today when i was in for my inspection about the timing belt when to change it

they have told me on a 2017 1.6 tdi  its a massive 140k

this sounds to much

whats your views on this guys

Personally I wouldn't go beyond 100k.  Belts are a load better than they used to be.  Even so, everything has a limit.

The 2.0 tdi also has a 5 year limit.  Could be the same with the 1.6.

Maybe this table will help:
