Polo clutch in Citigo/Up/Mii

Featured Replies

I'm sure I read somewhere that the Polo clutch (I guess the 1.0 3 cylinder one) can be fitted to the Citigo/Up/Mii and is stronger than the OE one fitted at the factory.

Anyone know any more about this?

Also, does a new clutchalways fix the chatter when idling in neutral?

I now know for sure my 62 plate Sport is an ex. driving school car, consequently the clutch needs done at only 61k.

I'm pretty sure that chatter comes from gearbox. Not from a clutch.

Also, it being a driving school car doesn't mean it needs a new clutch. My first one was sold working well with 104,000 miles on it, the second was still fine when sold at 86,000 miles.

If the Polo OEM clutch is better in a Up!MiiCitigo compared to a UP!MiiCitigo Clutch you might really wonder why VW do not fit them as OEM!

If you want to fit one best check with the technician / mechanic going to fit it.
