New (to me) Skoda Fabia Black Edition

Featured Replies

Finally picked up my Fabia Monte Carlo Black Edition today. Previously posted in About to buy a Skoda.  I can now confirm the infotainment system is the Amundsen + and confirmed this by long pressing Set Up when a 5 line system info popped up against the 3 line.

The sat Nav is the most annoying  bloody thing I've ever used, the instructions of when to turn is bloody annoying. I understand in a few months a new update will be available, can't wait.

I bought a brand new spare wheel and tool kit in the VW foam casing but for an Ibiza. Tomorrow I will check and if necessary sell the new wheel and tyre keep the tool kit but source a Mk2 fabia wheel.

"Take the next left at the third".........what does that even mean? My Amundsen + thought that I was about 15 miles away from actual position, all fixed now with new GPS aerial, but the directions are still taking some getting used to.

i turned the voices off on mine about 200 yards after I left the dealer's forecourt, so i have no idea whether they make sense or not

I can assure you that it makes no bloody sense at all. Just over 24 hrs and already two wrong turns. The other **** ing thing that pi55es me off is "Turn left then....BLURP... then take the 2nd right. Who the hell programmed this piece of ****?   I just wonder if the 2018 update will shut that bitch up.

However, car is good to drive , all my fillings have fallen out though, and for a 1.2 it's got some giddy up.
