345mm brake upgrade

Featured Replies

Hello!!

i am in need of some help and advice.

i have managed to get hold of some S3 345mm calipers.

i have new discs and pads.

but I am struggling to get the right hoses....

i have been told that the Mk5 R32 hoses fit?

i have also been told the 2.0Tfsi Audi ones fit but then some websites state the don’t fit the 3.2 models..

i am mega confused...

i am looking for braided replacements..

i have attached a pic of the Cal’s i have :)

could you not use the S3 hoses?

I did think that but seems there’s conflicting info :/

some of the hoses say not for 3.2 and then others say to use the TFSI 2L ones :/

Why not get some stainless braided ones made up?

Use S3 hose direct fit, I’m running that brake set up, you will also need S3 backing plates as they are also bigger than the standard VRS 1s.

Hi guys,

Considering this setup, so S3 calipers, backing plate, and hoses are a straight fit for then using 345mm Discs?
