My front washers, rear wiper, central locking, just stopped so I checked the fuses none of which seem to conform to the manual or the card in the dash end fuseboard, some are the wrong amps some are just not there I ran a scan and a shed load of issues popped up then the glowplug light started to flash, I am tempted to just clear them get a load of correct fuses and put them in,,,,,, but what is  right Mr haynes or the card which I think just shows fuses for every conceivable extra under the sun, if anyone has a MK2 fuse layout intact could I have a pic please

The fuses do vary quite a bit. I would suggest getting the main dealer to rectify the fuse box just to be sure. You will be on a level playing field from then on in. There are many unused slots and some circuits that rely on more then one fuse so it is difficult if someone else has been pulling and swapping them. I think if I remember correctly, the pattern on the fuse box cover is find of upside down and back to front. A close up look at the diagram has fuse numbers but it is hard to fathom. Glow plug can be as simple as blown brake lights so check them and the brake light switch before pulling things to bits.

Cheers its a mirror image to the card but helps not a lot as its all pictographic
