Damp Starts?

Featured Replies

OK, me again. Having a bit of a time of it at the moment. Nothing too serious this time (I hope). But is it normal to have to use the throttle to get the car started up in the morning? Happened this morning and this is the first time in a very long time this has happened. Turns over fine but won't start so it requires a push on the throttle to get it started. Probably just a sympton of the wet night we had?

Hope this is not related to the other psot on possible relay issues!!

Getting paranoid that the Skoda monster is chasing me. LOL!!

What engine do you have and how old is it?

If it is drive-by-wire it will make no difference anyway.

It was registered in late 2000 (X plate). So it is getting on a bit. It is just on some days when there has been a lot of rain or it is damp. Once car is warm there are no problems.

Thanks
