Exhausts

Featured Replies

Hi

In the process of modifying my oct vrs (dump valve + CAI kit)

Would like peoples comments on which sports exhaust to fit

Used to have a 'powerflow' type on a vectra sri - good system, however I have heard powerflow exhausts can 'rob a turbo'd car of power..is this true?

Is milotek exhaust better than blueflame?

Any suggestions will be greatly accepted

cheers mick

Do a search, as loads, and loads of posts and opinions on this one.

We all have our personal opinion, mine is Blueflame, others are Miltek, in the end it is your decision.

I dont have a performance exhaust on my car but having heard both Blue Flame and Miltek - I'd go for the Miltek.

This is because it is a little more subtle than the BlueFlame and is less boomy in the car - you hardly know the Miltek is there.

I like my Supersprint :)

My Blueflame system consisting of 2.5" pipework, sports cat and downpipe is simply the best mod ive ever done to a car! The performance difference is amazing as is the value the system offers. It can be very slightly boomy when accelerating through the 2500-3000 rev range though.

totally depends what you want from the exhaust.

my preference would be the blueflame as i'd want a system that gave a deeper burble than the standard system i'd also go for the 100cel cat.

it also depends how much you want to spend, Hayward and Scott do a system for the vRS thats a grand or there abouts.

the favourites seem to be:

Blueflame

Miltek

Supersprint
