No Rear window wash (Oct 2 estate)

Featured Replies

Have cleared washer nozlle, checked no damp behind cd changer, boot is dry but when operating pump, water drips from behind left rear wheelarch liner. Does anyone know if there is an inline connector behind the liner or what to expect when I remove wheel and liner (tomorrow) Many thanks for any info.

Hey,

I had a similar problem a while back. I traced it back to the connector that had worked loose under the CD changer. You mentioned that there is no damp in there but it could be that the connector has come loose and the water is running down the back. It's really tight in there and quite tricky to get it connected again. I cut some of the carpet back to get better access.

Hopefully helps you out.

Cheers

Thanks biggarboy83 for info - saved me removing wheel and w/arch liner, once I'd cut carpet below cd changer could then gain access to see disconnected union. Thanks again.

No problem. It took me a while to locate it the first time. Mine has come loose a couple of times since, worse in the winter
