Boot depth loss with emergency spare wheel?

Featured Replies

Will I lose boot depth (compared to gunk & compressor kit) if I specify the 125/70 R18 emergency spare wheel on a 4x4 version?

With the spare wheel in the 4x4 the boot floor is  virtually level rather than recessed.

Can't speak to the (any?) extra gubbins a 4x4 has, but on our 4x2 with spare, the boot looks like this:

Can't check the size as the wife's out in it. On the SE the wheels are 17". It's the steel space saver at £125.
