My first post here on this established forum.

 

I am having weird problems with my Octavia, the immobilizer is acting up. It starts for a second then shuts off randomly.

 

Stored codes were 1.) Engine blocked by immobilizer and 2.) Key signal too low, 3-) Comfort can-bus operating on single wire mode

 

I adapted my key multiple times but it still randomly kills the engine.

 

My measuring blocks show:

 

22 1, 1, 1, 1

23 1, 0, 1 ,6

24 0, 0, 0 ,0

 

Any Help?

There should be an pick up coil on the ignition switch, sometimes the wires or coil get damaged and cause a low/no signal problem. Have a look elsewhere on this forum for part numbers and how to replace it.
