l have k04 + standard manifold 235 hp mk1 octavia vrs and it has iridium spark plugs. İt was 180.000 kms when i bought it but now it s 267.000 kms. İ ve never changed the spark plugs so far because i am thinking that the iridium spark plugs are being used approximately 100.000 kms if İ m not wrong ?? Should i change them for the next maintenance ? And is there any offer for any type of spark plugs brand ? Thanks.

If yes, then don’t change them.

 

If no, then change them.

 

It’s called Condition Based Maintenance.

 

Time Based Maintenance can be more expensive.

Why not take one (or all) out and check their condition. Saying that if it was me I'd change then anyway.

 

To me condition based maintenance = fix it when it breaks - not for me.  I still trust my Octavia on a very long run even though it's now 17 years old.
