Hi All

 

I am looking for the correct rear strut mounts (prefer Febi to match new front mounts) but cannot seem to find the correct ones.

But if I put in the car model (Octavia, VRS 170 CR, 2010 FL) it says they do not fit.

Any idea which ones are correct and where to get them?

I just bought some lemforder top strut mounts front and read, being fitted tomorrow and these look the same shape. I too have a 2010 1Z3.

What Lemforder ones did you get for the rear? Do you have a link?

I tried loads of rear strut mounts on fleabay and everyone it said they were not compatible including the ones posted by HarleQuinn.

 

I went back and tried the aircon compressor I purchased and fitted recently and it said not compatible.

 

I tried the same strut mounts I posted above again and put all the car details in again manually (same 1z3 as before) and strangely enough they seemingly now fit.

 

Looks like there was something screwed up somewhere.

 

Have ordered the Febi ones. Hope they fit.

Cheers. I ordered the Febi ones I posted originally.

 

Turns out the compatibility tool on eBay was screwed up and said everything wasn't compatible. I put the car selection in again manually and it sorted itself out and they were compatible.

 

Getting a full new H+R -50mm Cup Kit installed to replace a bent one courtesy of insurance and body shop said they would replace the strut mounts at the same time if I got them.

 

Hopefully get the suspension sorted out and 4 wheel geometry done soon.
