Ferodo DS2500 part number or has anyone got them fitted to an Octy

Featured Replies

Has anyone got part number for Ferodo DS2500 to fit 04 Octy RS?????? I order a set front and rear Black Diamond drilled and grooved disc off Demon Tweeks but when i got them the rear disc's they were for a bora! And then they sent me the wrong pads (black diamond) and sure the front ones wouldn't fit. So now I

Quite a lot of us run 2500s (I'm using them on a 4x4 but I *know* many people have them (and the 3000s) on the 312mm discs too).

When I last visited Demon Tweeks they just looked them up in the catalogue for me.

FCP590H for the fronts.

Nice one lads now all i needs is the part number for the back pads?????

The lad on the phone said that Ferodo didn't even have them listed!

I'v only heard good things from this setup, a lot of fast road cars are running DS2500

But yours is slow...and mine is even slower...

It's only quick at stopping.

No idea but I can stand up in court and say I have 2500's on the front and read brakes...mind there are a lot of other things I have no idea about being a meek it bod.

I got them from Demon Tweaks to...speak to erm oh god, erm Chris Wood, maybe not wood; sorry, he's in the back of the catalogue and handles our discount with DT.

The other option is pagid xyz, find a similar co-efficient and you shoud be fine.

Dave Poole ad previous Chris Green. ;)

Ask DT to get Ferrodo to deliver them direct..will be quicker. Cost around

Someone here (not SkodiRS) organised a group by on these from DT about 2 years (come the summer) ago - I purchased a full set. Should be searchable.

Rears are FCP541H

Sorry, thought you only wanted fronts.

HTH

I got mine from DT 12 months ago, just about ready for a new set of rears, could organise a GB if there is interest.................

Thanks for your help lads parts are in the post!

@daver how many miles did ya get outta your pads?

I do High Miles, and push the car quite hard when I drive it for 'fun' I have Grooved discs fitted which are harder on Pads than standard discs, I have still got nearly 30K out of the rears, the fronts are good for another 15-20K......the difference over standard setup ut like night and day, just rememberto change the Brake fluid for something like Castrol RS super DOT 4.1:thumbup:

Cool, how are the disc holding up? is there still a good bit of mileage left on them?

Similar milage to Daver and a couple of track days, tbh they look as good as when I put them on.

I'm a bit confused but really happy, I was expecting to replace them after 10k tbh.

Better braking and long life, thats somthing you don't find every day.

Yes, the discs seem to be fine on both front & rear, will be checking them as soon as I get chance to get the car up....when this damned white stuff has gone!
