Yeti VCDS coding in Leeds

Featured Replies

Is there anyone in Leeds who can code my 2016 Yeti L&K to change the speed to show

on the MFD and also for the Speedo & Rev Counter to do a sweep when the ignition is

switched on (Staging I believe they call it)

I have just had 2 mods done to my 2016 Yeti, Changing the Speedo to show the digital one in the MFD and adding teardrop wipe.

On Saturday I had need to use my Amundsen Sat Nav and all I got was a message on the display saying

"Please insert a data medium with valid navigation data"

I rang my local dealer this morning and they said they couldn't do anything, but the software could be downloaded

from the Skoda Website, I have done this and it took about 4.5 hours, it then came up with an error message saying

that there wasn't enough room on the SD card, when I looked at the SD card in Windows Explorer the was 1.75 GB

unused & 13.5GB of files on the card, I tried the card in the Sat Nav but It still came up with the same error message.

Anyone know if the Mods would upset the Sat Nav?, I will add I had to have a new aerial fitted 2/3 months ago as the Dab Radio

wouldn't work, this was the first time I had tried to use the Sat Nav since the new aerial was fitted.

I sorted the downloading of the map updates, I was doing it wrong.

Had the car into D M Keith's Leeds today and they said that the car needed

a software update, everything (Touchwood) seems to be working OK
