Rear deflector or ...?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Really like this detail (don't know the exact name), but my car doesn't have it.

Any part number? I want to order it from local dealer. Thank you in advance

I always though that was standard :wondering: got them fitted on my SE Tech. Perhaps not across all markets

They must be a regional market thing, ours has them (uk).

Could be right - all the Irish Karoq's I have seen have them.

Might be something to so with rain getting wrapped around the rear of the car by the airflow - we both definitely get more of that than Istanbul!

Must be regional as my SE has it fitted

The rear window spoiler is most likely there to define the edge of the turbulence behind the car. Same function as the roof spoiler.

By having a sharp edge there, it defines the area of the turbulence behind the car - and reduces the drag.

Mine has it. Not very noticeable, as it is black and blends in with the darkened windows in the back.
