Octy 3 h7 led upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi

Anyone have some experience with changing h7 bulbs to led

What worries me is the beam pattern because i dont have projector like octy 2

Light is scattered everywhere so its very difficult to find led bulbs which "works" fine

you can get them but are expensive, from powerbulbss

Don't do it, or at least check carefully if there was some progress in the bulbs in the meantime.

What I have seen myself so far in mirror headlights LED & Xenon upgrades is a complete disaster. Yes, they are stronger, but they all, without any exception, blind the other drivers.

Don't get any from that eBay or you will dazzle drivers, the power bulb ones are Phillips, designed with the correct light kick to the left, but at around £160 are expensive

Even with the expensive ones the beam pattern won't be quite correct, but more importantly they aren't road legal. You pay your money and take your choices, but not sure I'd want to be running around with illegal headlights.

If you want led or xenon, best to buy one with them factory fitted.
