OBDeleven vs VCDS

Featured Replies

I saw that there is another device that substitutes VAG VCDS; it is called OBDeleven. Has anyone used it?

I've got it, its very good but not as good as VCDS. It is only £60 compared to £225 for VCDS though.

Its an android app which allows you to do most things.

You need to upgrade to the pro version if you want to do coding or anything serious.

This uses the car socket and wi-fi?

@TheRoq

Would you recommend it?

@Michael G,

Car socket.

Yes I’d recommend.

Useful for reading fault codes if you ever get any.

You can also enable features like beep on the alarm if you want it on.

It can recode systems as well though so dont start fiddling with settings unless you know what you’re doing.

Have the OBD11 users tested any codes? I managed to add the quantity of fuel to the dashboard and the fan speed indicator in Auto.
