Delivery of new Karoq 1.5 TSI SEL manual

Featured Replies

Delighted to take delivery of my new “baby” yesterday - in pristine white.  Had to drive her around the M25 to get home from the Epsom dealer and she was a dream.  I’m coming off 5 years with 2 diesels [both Audi Q3s - given up because of the demonisation of diesels] so anticipating a shock at the much reduced “reach” of the petrol engine. :-(.    Getting to grips with the Amundsen infotainment is a challenging in becoming comfortable where things “live” - where’s a five year old when I need one?  ;-)   Loving the quiet engine - almost purrs.  Pics will be posted.

Congratulations! Like you, I come from a succession of diesels - about 6 in my case - and am glad to be back with a (quiet) petrol engine.

Enjoy it.

Congrats Lulubelle, how does the Karoq compare with your 2 old Q3s'???

So far so good - actually very similar to drive though the steering wheel controls (volume controls and telephone) are on opposite sides. Thumbs keep reaching for the wrong controls.  Doh!  Way bigger boot - can probably hide a lot more bodies in there.   Feels “bigger” to drive but I think I’m sitting higher in the seat.  Tbh loving the car
