Skoda Fabia VRS 2005 NOW SOLD

Featured Replies

Sadly, as time moves on, it is time to offer up for sale my Fabia VRS. One private owner before me when I bought it from Progress Skoda Northampton in 2013 with 45k on the clock. I drove it for one year before “loaning” it to my son. I took the car back in Feb 2018 when he bought himself a new VW.

The car has done 109.847 with a fully documented service history from day one. It is unmodified.

Services at 7k, 13k,20k, 25k, 30k, 35k, 42k, 49k, 64k, 73k, 88k, 97k, 108k. Cambelt and water pump Jan 2016. New battery  November 2015..

Turbo boost pipe replaced approx Oct 2017 but I have no paperwork for that

Front tyres 6mm

Rear tyres 6mm

When I took the car back in February this year it had a full service at 108493 mile. Anything that needed attention was done by my local independent VAG garage..... New fuel filter, new bump stops, new arb bushes, new outer cv gaiter, rear disks and pads. I had the car interior valeted and the wheels powder coated. New Walser seat covers adorn the front seats and new, genuine Skoda Vrs floor mats. I also have a set of winter wheels and tyres.

There are small stone chips to the bonnet but the rest of the paintwork is, more or less, blemish free. The spoiler, of course, is faded but polishes up easily enough.

The drivers seat bolster has frayed slightly through wear.

This is still a great looking car that goes and drives beautifully. It returned 58mpg on a recent 400 mile trip to Devon.

Everything works as it should.

I have all the old MOTs and numerous receipts.

There are two sets of keys

MOT to June 2019.

Really sad to see her go, but I am looking to be sensible and reduce my car fleet from 3 cars down to 1. I genuinely would like this to go to a Skoda enthusiast.

PRICE = SOLD

Thank you for your thoughts.

Sold today to a good home and fellow Briskodian.

Thanks Kev  :)

Very much enjoyed the drive home, 57mpg and plenty of smiles.

Glad to be back in a Fabia VRS.

All the best!
