Seems to be different ones using my 07 reg plate (4x4 Octavia 2l diesel estate) at Halfrauds and Euro carparts.

I guess it`s a case of get the filter off and compare??

Or will any fit?

Have a look at your oil filter housing it should say what type of filter you have 

The Halford's guide on the shelf was wrong for me. Had to take it back twice before we got the right one.

If you give Europarts local branch a call , and give them your engine number they will usually be able to tell you the exact part.

Do you know your engine code as the fitment guide on the likes of ECP will tell you which fits which .... The first photo with the "stick" is mines in the BKD engine ... The second is for the CFHC and CLCB engine codes
