I hope I'm able to express this correctly...

 

My Octavia, 2014, 1.2TSI, 6speed manual Gearbox has started to create an odd grinding, metallic noise when I release the throttle and won't touch the clutch-pedal or to The

brake. (Engine braking). The sound is clear especially on about 50kmh speed, but the frequency isn't related to engine revs. Its related to the car speed instead. It more like a wavy sound, not a continuous one, like I would expect if it's from a bearing?

 

Also, The sound stops when cluth pedal is pressed.

Any help or ideas of what it could be, are highly appreciated!

Nobody?

I couldn't make much of it from the recording.  I think it may be transmission, thrust bearing or something else gearbox related.

came from? because i have the same

noise in my car.

Your issue might well be very different since you have  DQ200 DSG and they had a manual.

?

Have you had a mechanic try your car to see if they can identify the source of your noise? 

no this is my other car octavia 1.2 tsi 6 gear manuel
