Having today got a company mobile phone, I need some help with the Orange voicemail system.

Basically the phone has been inherited from another user who has left my employer. What I want to do is erase the custom greeting that he setup and revert back to the default orange one. I have worked out howto record a new custom one but dont really want to go down that route.

I have no manual or anything for the phone, the charger and phone arrived in a jiffy bag.

All help appreciated.

There should be a voice prompt that says "to revert to the standard greeting" or similar?? In options "change your personal greeting"?

Can you remind me how to call voicemail from the handset?

Change personal greetings you can do in the options.

Also if you do get totally stuck give Orange a buzz, they should be able to reset it etc and get the pins reset.

I have now managed to erase the greeting. All I need to do now is get those people that keep calling the number thats now mine to realise that the previous owner no longer has the phone.

Had that too - for a while I put a message on stating if they wanted to speak to person X (previous) to please contact his new number/redirect to switchboard.

Depends a bit on whether previous owner of phone is within the same company or not I suppose.
