I was wondering if the 2014 Citigo SE edition had some sort of Bluetooth connectivity for things like the trip computer seeing it doesn't come with a PID?

Just the PID for a 2014. Bluetooth connectivity is present on the newer Citigo’s (2016 onwards usually) where you use the Move & Fun app.

Plenty of second hand PID units on eBay for not too much money- as far as I'm aware all all Skoda Citigo models prior to the face lift were pre-wired for this system. you can just buy a second hand unit - do a factory reset and plug it in to your vehicle - doesn't matter if it is Skoda, Seat or VW version as it will recognise your vehicle and change to Skoda
