Hi guys 

 

I am new to the site today and I am looking for some help regarding my vrs.  

 

Unfortunately I damaged the lower front grille on my vrs bumper and I need to replace it. Does anyone here know if the grille can be removed without removing the front bumper? I am guessing not as people could just walk up and take your grille but thought I would check. 

 

Alternative is I just cut most of the grille out as it’s knackered and being replaced and this would maybe give me access to remove the clips properly from the back? 

 

Does anyone one have any experience of this?

 

i tried to do a search but can only see posts about full bumper removal or upper grille removal.

 

Any help would be much appreciated as I don’t know much about these cars.

I'm pretty sure that it's all one piece; I had to have the a/c condenser changed due to stone damage and I believe they took the whole thing off. I was then going to put a bit of mesh behind to stop further stone attacks but it just doesn't seem possible to get in there.There's a video somewhere of a Russian doing this in a field with a chainsaw (sorry, I exaggerate, but his approach is a bit rough and ready) that's quite enough to stop you having a go! Not a good design to my mind.
